Reuben sauce

This sauce is so tasty & simple, you’ll want to add to everything!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup (when doing keto, use sugar-free ketchup)

  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 tablespoon dill pickle juice

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill pickles

  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish, optional but very Reuben-ish

  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder

  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce

  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Whisk everything together and let it sit in the fridge for 15-30 minutes so the flavors come together. Taste and adjust more pickle juice for tang, ketchup for sweetness, or horseradish for bite.

TEACHING NOTE

I made this for a live cooking class one time as I was teaching super fun ways to spruce up a Keto diet, we used sugar-free ketchup when doing so. But as you can imagine, tweak as desired!
